As I was eating up the words of John Edwards (apparently, the next President of the United States) and others, a friend pointed out that David Chase of Sopranos fame was standing directly behind me.

It goes without saying, I had to meet the guy.

I introduced myself, we shook hands, and he was incredibly cordial.

I turned back around,  but then something happened. There was this gnawing sensation growing inside of me. Something in my soul felt incomplete… I leaned over to Mr. Chase and asked point blank…

“So, did Tony die?”

He smiled, shrugged his shoulders, and then pointed somewhere in the general vicinity of James Gandolfini before replying, “No. He’s over there somewhere.”
